Frequently Asked Questions

What is a boneless couch?

Think all comfort, no hard frame.
A boneless couch skips the traditional wood or metal frame and uses supportive foam to create its shape and comfort. That means softer edges, a more relaxed feel, and easier delivery through doors and hallways. Unbox it, let it expand, and get comfortable.

What does it feel like?

Soft enough to sink in, supportive enough to stay awhile.
The foam gently adapts to your body for a relaxed, cushioned feel without the stiffness of a traditional sofa. It’s made for stretching out, curling up, and getting comfortable—whether you’re watching a movie, working from the couch, or doing absolutely nothing.

Will it hold its shape over time?

Soft doesn’t have to mean shapeless.
The supportive foam is designed to bounce back and maintain its shape through everyday lounging. Like any foam sofa, it may soften slightly with regular use, but giving it a little fluff and rotation from time to time can help keep it looking and feeling its best.

Does it require assembly?

No toolbox. No mystery screws.
Your couch arrives compressed and ready to expand—no traditional furniture assembly required. Just unbox it, remove the packaging, place it where you want it, and give it up to 48 hours to fully expand. Then it’s time to get comfortable.

How does my couch arrive?

Ships small. Lives big.
Your couch arrives compressed and securely packed in a box, making it easier to move through doors, hallways, and into your space. Once it’s where you want it, simply unbox it and let it expand. Give it up to 48 hours to fully settle into shape.

Will it fit through my door?

That’s one of the perks of arriving compressed.
Because your couch ships compressed in a box, it’s much easier to move through doors, hallways, elevators, and tighter spaces than a traditional full-size sofa. We still recommend checking the package dimensions against your entryway before ordering.

How long does it take to fully expand?

Give it a little time to settle in.
Your couch will start expanding as soon as it’s unboxed, but it can take up to 48 hours to fully recover its shape and comfort. A few wrinkles or compressed areas at first are completely normal—just give it some time to relax.

How do I clean it?

Life happens. Keep it simple.
For everyday care, gently vacuum away dust, crumbs, and pet hair. For spills or stains, spot clean the affected area with a soft cloth and mild cleaner, then let it air dry completely. Always avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the fabric.

This is a lounging couch, not a sitting-pretty couch

I wanted something I could actually stretch out on, and this is exactly that. The seats feel deep and soft, and I really like not having a hard frame underneath me. I’ve basically stopped using the other chair in my living room.

Much easier to get into my apartment than expected

My biggest concern was getting a sectional through a narrow hallway. Since it came compressed, moving it inside was way easier than dealing with a normal sofa. It took some time to fully fluff up, but after that it looked great.

Give it a day before judging it

Right out of the packaging I was a little nervous because some areas looked flattened. It filled out a lot over the next day or two. Once it settled, it was really comfortable. Definitely wait before deciding what you think.

Movie-night approved

This couch has pretty much turned our living room into movie night headquarters. Two people can stretch out without constantly fighting over space, and it’s soft enough that I’ve accidentally fallen asleep on it more than once.

Softer than a traditional sectional

If you like firm, structured couches, this probably isn’t for you. It has a much more relaxed feel. That’s what I wanted, but it definitely feels different from a standard framed sofa.

The dog claimed it first

I bought this for myself. Apparently I bought it for my dog. He took over one side about ten minutes after I set it up. Luckily there’s still plenty of room left for me.

Perfect for a small apartment

I didn’t have room for both a couch and a guest bed, so this made a lot of sense. Most of the time I keep it in lounge mode, then unfold it when someone stays over. It doesn’t make the room feel crowded.

Way more useful than I expected

I originally bought it as extra seating, but I use the flat position all the time. It’s great for reading or watching TV. It is lower than a normal couch, so just know that before ordering.

My favorite spot in the apartment now

I work from home and wanted somewhere that wasn’t my desk or my bed. This ended up being the perfect in-between spot. I probably spend way too much time on it.

Simple setup, comfortable after expanding

There wasn’t really anything complicated to assemble. I opened it, let it expand, and adjusted it a little. It looked better the next day than it did right out of the box.

Great for overnight guests

My sister stayed over for a weekend and actually asked where I bought this. It’s not trying to be a traditional mattress, but for a casual guest setup it worked really well.

A

Exactly what I needed for my studio

My studio is too small for bulky furniture. This gives me somewhere to sit, stretch out, and occasionally sleep without eating up the entire room. That was basically the whole reason I bought it.

E

My reading corner finally makes sense

I put this next to a floor lamp in my bedroom and now that corner actually gets used. It’s long enough to stretch my legs out and soft enough that I don’t keep shifting around trying to get comfortable.

B

Definitely more lounge than chair

This isn’t a structured armchair, so don’t expect that kind of support. It’s much softer and more casual. I bought it specifically for lounging, so for me that’s a plus.

H

Dangerous for productivity

I sat down to read for twenty minutes and woke up an hour later. So I guess that tells you everything you need to know.

M
Marcus V.
Good size without feeling huge

I wanted something bigger than a chair but smaller than another sofa. This hits that middle ground really well. It fits in my bedroom without making the room feel packed.

O
Olivia N.
Took a little while to reach its shape

It looked a bit uneven when I first opened it, which worried me. After letting it sit and fluffing it up, it looked much more like the photos. Comfortable once it fully expanded.

K
Kevin A.
Everyone picks this seat first

I bought this as an extra chair for the living room and somehow it became the seat everyone wants. I should probably be annoyed, but that’s a pretty good review.

J
Jake M.
Great gaming chair without looking like a gaming chair

I wanted something comfortable for gaming but didn’t want a giant racing-style chair in my room. This works really well. I can sit back, move around, or curl up without feeling stuck in one position.

B
Brittany R.
Low, soft, and very casual

It’s definitely low to the floor, which I expected from the photos. If you have trouble getting up from low furniture, keep that in mind. Otherwise it’s really cozy.

A
Adam K.
Perfect for my media room

I added two of these in front of the TV instead of buying another couch. They’re easy to move when I need the floor space and much more comfortable than the floor cushions we had before.

M
Melissa P.
Teenager approved

I bought this for my son’s room and now his friends always fight over it. That’s probably the most accurate product test I can give.

J
Jordan E.
Comfortable but give it room to expand

The box was smaller than I expected, which was nice for getting it upstairs. Once opened, it needed some time before it looked full. After that it was much better.

C
Casey D.
Exactly the kind of casual seating I wanted

I didn’t want another formal chair. I wanted something I could sit sideways in, put my feet up on, and basically ignore proper posture. This does the job.

T
Taylor S.
Looks more interesting than a normal floor chair

The shape is what made me choose this one. I wanted something casual but not something that looked like a giant bean bag. It actually adds personality to the room.

M
Morgan C.
Cozy and softer than I expected

I expected it to be comfortable, but it has more of a sink-in feel than I thought. If you like very firm seating, this isn’t that. I use it mostly for TV and reading.

A
Amanda J.
My favorite do-nothing chair

This is the chair I sit in when I have absolutely no plans to be productive. Blanket, coffee, TV, done.

R
Ryan T.
Great in a bedroom

I didn’t have enough space for a loveseat, but I wanted somewhere besides the bed to hang out. This fits perfectly in the corner and doesn’t visually take over the room.

N
Natalie B.
The shape takes a little time after unboxing

It wasn’t perfectly shaped right away, which I expected from compressed furniture. After letting it expand and adjusting it a bit, the curves looked much better.

E
Eric W.
Somehow became the most popular seat in the house

We have a full couch in the same room and people still pick this one first. I think it’s because you can sit normally, sideways, curled up, or basically however you want.
